Brackley Pocket Park
Located in the former cutting of a railway line, the pocket park sits alongside St. James Lake, one of Brackley's beauty spots.
Edgcote and Battlefield
Edgcote is a small village 6 miles north-east of Banbury. It is the site of one of the last battles of the War of the Roses, the result of which led to the King, Edward IV, capitulating just a few days later. The scenery is stunning, sadly it is under threat from the proposed HS2 which is planned to run across the middle of the battlefield.
This picture-postcard village sits astride the Grand Union Canal to the south of Northampton. There is much to see in and around the village, not least the Blisworth Tunnel and the canal museum which is well worth a visit.
