15 walks in beautiful countryside in South-West Northamptonshire.  Walks are either on the Special Landscape Circuit or Hunting Forests Circuit of the Heritage Trail. A warning that some of these walks will be spoilt by enabling works for HS2.

The Canal and River Circuit includes a long stretch along the Grand Union Canal Towpath. 8 of these walks follow either the canal or the River Nene with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.

This guide is ideal for taking the kids out in the fresh air.  All the walks are traffic free and includes a section on Wildlife Sites including pocket parks and Nature Reserves.

Walk HS2 Before the train comes!

This leaflet was published a few years ago to encourage people to walk the footpaths that were going to be affected by HS2. Now that the go-ahead has been given to this colossal waste of money and that our environment is going to be wrecked, this is your last chance to walk these routes and enjoy the habitat before it disappears the name of so called progress.

You can download the leaflet below for free and please share with your friends.  Be warned that as construction starts some of the footpaths may be closed :-(
